Default L05 to L31 crate conversion in 1973 3/4 ton pickup

So the engine in my 73 Chevy pickup was due for some work. It had been converted into a vortec/carb hybrid so I decided to replace it with a L31 crate. So far here is what I have needed to do to make the conversion work.

-Install electric fuel pump
-New flex plate
-Vortec intake manifold
-Oil dipstick is different size(Old is 7/16" hole, new is 3/8") Old was on drivers side now, new on passenger. I replaced it with a Mr. Gasket 6237.
-Plastic timing cover causes clearance issue with driver side mounted power steering pump. Must use stock or aftermarket timing cover. This also removes the unused crank position sensor hole on the plastic cover.

So far this seems to be the only necessary modifications but we will see as I approach the first start.
