Latest Z28 mods :)
Well, I have been working on the Z28 for a while now. I'm starting to call it a restoration update because I have re-dyed the entire interior and replaced a whole host of parts under the hood.
I decided back in September that I wanted to get it looking good for the car club show on Oct 9, so I started buying... a set of chrome valve covers, a stainless hood latch plate, stainless fender braces, and 4 cans of SEM dye, and a Sony radio later and I had it pretty much ready to rock.
I also bought a few little odds and ends like a k&n filter and k&n valve cover breather, I dug out my cowl induction breather dishes and cut out a new hood insulation pad. I also buffed the paint and painted some things under the hood as well.
I'm not quite done with it YET! I also bought an MSD ignition box and distributor to put in it along with some blue plug wires... but that isn't quite installed yet.
AS OF SEPT 20

As promised, here are the pics!
I was changing the plug wires and thought... oh this would be so much easier if the secondary air injection rail were out of the way, so my uncle and I cut the rail and extracted the fittings from the manifold. I went to Lowe's and got set screws to plug them up with. Now I'm finished running the new plug wires. All I have to do is loom them and that will be finished. There will be an afternoon this week devoted to wiring the MSD box and moving the distributor a bit counterclockwise so I can advance the timing a bit further, and then I will be finished!
