My 88 sierra Daily
So heres my truck. have had it for 3 years, got her going and on the road 2 years ago. when i got it (for next to nothing), she was in bad shape. ignition system was all skrewed up misfiring bad, timing way off. guy who ownit before me was sure the truck was done. Needed rockers the box was bad, and the fiberglass stepsides were all busted up and rotten.
Didn't take nowheres near enough pictures of all the work i've done but here is part of the story in pictures:
the rocker:
the bed
I thought i had more pics of the before, but you'll have to use your imagination:
The hood, Not really a issue...
Now:
Me and the guys...

I put allot of hours saving her... There were mechanical and electrical issues i had to deal with from the previous owner not knowing what the hell he was going...
like i said the whole ingition, timing system was a mess and had to be replace from the dizzy up. and the stereo install was at best a fire hazard.
the rear wiring harness had caught fire and shorted out the all the rear lights and fried on to the rear taillight circuit boards.
But well worth the time... many many times i almost quite. like last year the ignition problem had me stumped so bad i had to drive my lowered blazer all winter... grrrrr that was a tough one.
Now i've still gotta level the cab with the box, and remake one of the step supports. and i started making the custom roll pan and the stereo
Regretfully my amp was too much power for the lanzar and i cooked it in like 4 days.
The start of my amp rack.... i still have to make the cover and fiberglass the whole thing.

The first few pics are the voice coils i burnt up like the valves on a vtec engine.
So i got my new one today
So it wasnt long before it was in... Sounds so awesome it
