small project.
IT's been awhile since I did any woodwork, but it'll come back. My uncle makes custom wood products. Cedar, because its awesome, looks great, and smells great. I wouldn't put a finish on it for a few months.
me either lol. but oh well. haha. the seat project and new box is a project way down the road. haha. one thing im going to miss about working construction is the pay. cuz ill be making more now than i will in the air force if i get in. :/ how quickly do people graduate ranks.
Alrightey.... with ranks, with no College, and you sign for 4 years, Airman Basic for 6 months, then Airman, for 1 year, than Airman First Class, for 48 months, or your 3 year mark, whichever comes first, then Senior Airman.
With college, Airman First Class from the get go. Once you make Senior Airman, it's all good, then you test for your promotions. But, you'll make pretty good money. Think of whats paid for, then think of what you have to spend it on. I have had a truck payment since my 3rd month in, and I smoked for my first 3 years. I was never really broke, just not smart with my money. this last year I made over 30k... Then think of deployments, the money you save, plus tax-free, hostile fire pay... all that...

That actually depends... theres a lot of variables in that question.... Such as, if you get orders, if you have a financial hardship, things of that nature. i know a few people that signed for 6, and extended, because they got orders to Alaska. And on buddy extended a year for financial reasons. Personally, I suggest reenlisting if you plan on extending. But only reenlist if you have a reenlistment bonus...
