Details
- When you are driving you can hear gurgling where the reservoir is but this issue has been present for years with no issues
- Recently the Equinox started overheating and when it does the reservoir is overfilling, bubbling, and leaking underneath the truck
- We replaced the thermostat
- We found a crack in the radiator and replaced it
- No leaks have been found
- Bottom and top radiator hose are getting hot
- Needle goes down when you rev up (at idle, no need to accelerate or move forward)
- Could it be a faulty reservoir or lid? I know they are pressurized
- Fans are working properly
- No white smoke, no noticeable oil in antifreeze (seen during radiator replacement)
- We've recently started to manually bleed the system (loosen nail and squeeze top hose until liquid starts) and both times we did this the car drove better and took longer to overheat.
