i have a 2006 equinox with a crack in radiator cooland went on my windshield and the overheat light came on when it overheated and it shut car off completely.

when replacing the radiator should i replace the thermostat while im at it. i just replaced the thermostat and coolant sensor last year.

Any thoughts would be great

No need to replace the thermostat again, but I would definitely make sure the cooling fans are working properly.

 

Thank you for your response. I know the pigtails to the motors are notorious for burning. Going to change out whole assembly and pig tails this weekend.
