Default Coolant recovery hose

2002 Chevy express 3500 5.7lt. Anyone know where the hose on the right side of the coolant recover is supposed to go. I pulled it off by mistake while flushing the radiator and can’t find where the other end connects. Thanks

Not sure about the 02 specifically but any overflow tank will have one hose going to the radiator and one hanging down open to spill the overflow.

I can take some pictures tomorrow of my setup and let you know. I believe the one that's lower goes to the radiator neck (so it's always got coolant in it) and as mentioned, the second just threads down to spill to ground in case the system overflows.
