My 2020 Equinox started to produce white smoke with less than 50,000 mileage. This happened 2 weeks after the oil and filter were changed. During the oil change, it was discovered that the oil in the sump has reduced so much. I have contacted some Mechanics to know what is wrong with the car. I got different responses from the Mechanics. I am confused as to which of these Mechanics is correct. The first one said it's the turbo-charger sensor needs to be changed. The second said the Pistons and Rings need to be changed. Has anyone on the forum experienced this. I need help, please.
The scan showed:
1) 00,02,10,2b(P102b)
2) P0036
3) 00,02,10,2a(P102a)
4) 00,02,10,29(P1029)

You "contacted" some mechanics? Did anyone actually perform any diagnostic tests on it or are these just suggestions of possibilities in answer to your questions? It looks like you might have multiple faults on that car but without a hands on diagnostic it's impossible to be sure. Good luck!
