I recently bought a 2003 Silverado with the Speedo not working. Got it home and rebuilt the cluster with new stepper motors. Put it back in and everything was working except for the Speedo so I pulled it back out checked the solder joints and all looked good so before I put it back in I put the Speedo needle at 80 mph and then plugged it in to make sure it was getting power. It was and returned to the resting position so I think I can rule out the cluster itself. Then after some driving I realized the odometer hasn’t changed since I bought the truck. I put a new speed sensor that threads into the tail housing of the transfer case. Still nothing I’m kinda lost. I have a pretty good scanner and I’m getting transmission output rpm signal but no mph signal. I also checked the abs system and all wheel speeds sensor are reading accurate . And insight would be appropriated
