Default Speedometer sticking
Speedo sticks at different speeds and when restarted the speedo is still on a speed indicator

What year is your truck? From 2003 to 2006 GM had problems with the stepper motors that control the gauges. The stepper motors can be replaced or you can get a rebuilt cluster.
