Default Excellerator Sticking!!!!

[]I have had the 2007 Tahoe now for about 7 months. I love it, but have had a major problem happen now three times! While excellerating to get onto the freeway the excellerator has locked down in the full-throttle posotion! It is very scary! It took like 10 seconds before I could get it unstuck. I had my foot completely down on the brake and kept re-tapping the gas hoping to unstick it. All while there was a rig on my butt on the freeway! Has anyone else had this problem with there Tahoe? Third time is the charm for me and I am taking it to the dealer! GGGrrr........

I would say you have two issues for the dealer to check:

1) sticking throttle
2) running at WOT for 10 seconds and still have people riding your bumper... must be one slow Tahoe!

A stuck throttle pedal is usually the result of floor mat interference. If you are sure that is not the cause then don’t waste any time having it repaired.
