JF Morris Unfortunately changing the sensor didn't work. I went ahead and got a fuel filter while I was there. After that gonna check the fuel injectors....then, I am thinking a match to the gas tank.

Have you checked fuel pressure, especially under load? May have a weak pump

JF Morris. WeLLLLLLLL....it wasn't the filter. Got myself in a big mess changing it. I was sure my 5105 John Deere tractor would have lifted up the front in but it didn't.

Rednucleus Don't have a fuel pressure gauge. I'll Google and see what I can do. That will be next on the list

Here's a thought. I got a bad mouse issue here on the farm with all the feed and seed. This is my farm truck, stays down in the barn and doesn't get driven much. Sometimes for weeks. The last time I pulled it out of the barn I noticed a small handful of insulation on the ground that was in the direction of the tailpipe. It's possible a bunch of little mices have started a mouse village somewhere up my tailpipe. ( No Jokes Please ) Anyway, would it be a good idea the cut the exhaust somewhere upstream of the catalytic converter? If I did...how in the world would I get it back together? Does anyone have an suggestion? No suggestion is a stupid suggestion unless it comes from me......

Maybe start with a visual inspection of the frame & chassis before opening up the exhaust. Perhaps on top of the fuel tank and/or the gap between the tank and frame rail.

I’m not saying it’s impossible but it’s highly unlikely they nested in the exhaust unless it’s rusted out in a spot close to the frame where the effort needed to get in & out is minimal.

Ok...I tested both fuel injectors with a voltmeter. Had continuity on both. After turning the truck on I visually checked for good spraying on both injectors. Had a fine even mist coming out of both. Went to the auto store and got a fuel pressure tester. The guys there told me their opinion was a bad fuel pressure regulator. $99.99. I am going to test the fuel pressure while sitting here on flat ground running smooth and if is good I am going to go park it on the hill it has so much trouble climbing. I am praying it is not the fuel pump.

Thanks Everyone for your help
