1995 Silverado Fantom Battery Draw
Hello Chevy Fellow Lovers,
I have a strange draw on my battery that draws it down to 9.5 volts where it stays. It takes about two or three weeks during the cold weather. I have never seen this before, this coming from a Chevy man since the early 70s.
Any idea on how to trouble shoot this problem?

the conventional way is to disconnect the negative battery terminal and install an ammeter in series between the neg bat cable and neg battery post.
google eric the car guy parasitic draw test for a video
I prefer to measure voltage drop across the each fuse while they are in place. a circuit will no draw with measure 0.0mV. a circuit that is powered will show a 0.1mV reading which equals approx. 20mAmps.
once all the modules power down into sleep mode the total system draw should not be over 50mAmps for your truck
