Want to replace spark plugs in a 2002 Silverado 1500 4.8 engine. Am using 41-110 (or now 41-162) Iridium plugs in a LS1 5.7 Corvette. Can these plugs be used in the Silverado?
Original plugs in the Vette were double Platinum gapped at .060 and the Iriduim plugs are gapped at .040. Work fine in the Vette. If these plugs are not suitable for a 4.8 Vortec what AC Delco plug would be suitable?

 

as long as the threads are the same length as the OEM then you can use them regardless of gap but i would try to find OEM plugs
