Default alternator output low at idle

Ok Ok I got beat up, Just bought this 2008 chevy truck and I am having a problem with it, My alternator output is below 13v at idle. As I'm driving its around it will work its way up to 14v once in awhile it will go to 14.2 (where it should be) but when I come to a stop it will drop way down. changed the alternator and it still does it. 12V to regulator and battery . Any ideas? Please help

Voltage sounds normal to me. you don't need >14V if the battery is already full because that'll overcharge it and kill it over time.
do you ever have trouble starting? If yes, then have your battery load tested. Make sure all your connections are clean and tight.
