I’m trying to connect my old ipod to my 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT using the usb ports. The ipod has a headphone port, I believe 3.5 mm. I have chords with Aux, 3.5 mm to USB, and Aux 3.5 mm to USB-C and neither are recognized by the Silverdo. On every vehicle I’ve had and have (2008-2022 models) I just plug it in and it works both USB and Aux, except my truck. Any advice?

I tried to connect some old phones to my 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT to listen to audio using either of the usb ports so I could control the audio from my device, my phone, as it is easier to control, but my Silverado wouldn’t recognize them so I connected thru Bluetooth. It works but whatever changes I make to play a different song there’s a long delay before it takes. Very frustrating.
