Default ****gauge cluster not working****

my 99 silverado gauge cluster isn't working. RPM and speedometer stay at zero. fuel gauge and tepmerature gauge do not change. only 2 gauges that are working are the battery and oil pressure

easy way is to check the cluster fuse first.

hard way is to pull the cluster out, clean all the contacts, reseal with dielectric grease, and say a prayer.

not to forget to disconnect the battery, before you even get close to doing so.

Check for recalls Lots of GM guage cluster recalls out there in the last 9 years or so.
