01 6.0 a/c issues
I have an 01 2500 with the 6.0. A few months ago the a/c started working intermittently. It would work great for 45 minutes, then now work at all for a few hours then kick back on. Every time it came back on it was ice cold so I dont think it's an issue with freon being low. When I checked the pressures when it was on they were all good. So today I crawled under it and decided I would overdid the clutch to see if it would kick on. So I found 2 surprises.
#1 it's a 2 prong plug unlike the ones I'm familiar with
#2 with the truck off I probed both and got 0 volts
#3 with truck on I got 14.3 bolts
This now tells me that it's getting power to turn the clutch on but its not working
Any options to repair the clutch?
