Hey there, petrou, Welcome to the Chevy Forums.
I would look into the aftermarket at your favorite parts store, for
fans. They make replacement fans for other vehicles, it's all
a matter of figuring out clearance, whether you already have the
140A alternator(if you change this, know there is also a
marginally larger serpentine belt which goes with it) in the event you
want to install more than one fan, and how you would switch it,
be it relays, or manually.
There's also the issue of whether you would want to upgrade to a more
sensitive temperature gauge and sender.
You will want to be careful to be able to reverse your "improvements"
back to OEM, till you are sure the retrofits work as you desire,
many of these OEM systems are carefully engineered, especially in
the sparse amount of space left over with a large block.
Good luck.
