Default Bed Cover and Upgrades

I just picked up my 2011 Silverado Z71 4x4 Crew Cab last night. I really want a bed cover of some sort, but don't really know which brand or style to look at. I do not want a fiberglass, one piece cover and I do not want one that is not secure (i.e. no soft cover that simply snaps on)

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Also, are there any useful add-ons or upgrades I should consider that won't void or impact my warranty?

Thanks for the help.

By the way, the black truck looks mighty nice next to the white 2009 Tahoe in the driveway.

I have the same truck in the 10 model. I went with the Lund roll up, soft top and a heavy rubber liner for the bed. I put a large hard plastic box, fits under the cover and all the way forward in the bed. There are 2 padeyes, I attached a premade cable to which also locks the box, use 3 locks, same key. The box is heavy enough it has never moved sitting on the rubber bedliner. The Lund roll up attaches down the sides with velcro and locks down at the tailgate. Keeps the water out and adds alittle aerodymanics for fuel economy. Iam happy with this set up. If a thief wants something , they`ll get it.

I had a 07 NBS chevy and went with the GM tonneau cover (no snaps) was velcro sides .... very nice cover... I installed a extra latch on the other side of the cover so there would be no problems. It worked well with my GM cargo management system and I also put a GM Carpet liner in the bed (called a bedrug)

Truxedo is the best one I have seen for pick ups because it is super easy and rolls up nice and stays weather tight.

I ended up with an Extang Solid Fold. Received and installed it today. It is not as low profile as others, but is pretty secure.
