Default Brake Bleeding '02 Silverado 1/2 t

Are there any special requirements or tricks I should know about before I bleed the brakes on my '02 1/2 ton 2wd? I am going to do this to replace the fluid. I am a little cocerned about the ABS or some other computer/electronics. Does the truck need to be running? Thanks!

No you don't have to have it running. You do it just like any other vehicle. If you're going to force bleed it (someone inside working the pedal) start with the back right, then back left, then front right, then front left.....Start at the furthest from the master cylinder and work your way closer.

You can also gravity bleed it....Just pop open all the bleeders and let them drain out making sure not to let the master cylinder get empty.
