Change Oil Light Coming on
Alright so I changed the oil in my truck and after about 700 miles the
change oil light comes on when I turn the truck on but goes off after
about 10-15 seconds. Anyone know why this is happening?

Maybe it did not "take" the first time. Repeat the instructions in the manual and see what happens and be sure to press the pedal fully to the floor with the ignition in the on position. Right now your vehicle is behaving as if it was not reset.

To follow Frankies321, If it takes, you should see your IP oil light flash quickly several times. If you do not, try again. If you still have problems. Drive by a dealer or garage. They will be more than happy at no charge to assist you in resetting it. Just remember what they did.....
