Default Check engine light blinking

My 2000 Silverado z71 check engine light blinks when i accelerate and loses power bad, i changed all the plugs and wires but it is still the same. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

plugged exhuast or fuel related. It probably is a 300 code misfire.

Yeah, I thought with pretty much all vehicles a blinking light meant engine misfire. Does the light stay on solid otherwise? Possibly a coil?

Try pulling spark plug wires off one at a time reinstalling them after you pull it off and Listen to the engine as you are pulling them off. If you pull the spark plug wire off of spark plug and it misfires more, its good. If you pull the spark plug wire off and nothing changes you found the source. Chances are you have a bad coil.

Most of the time the code will also let you know what cylinder the misfire is on. Commonly the spark plugs or coil, rarely the wires

Why don't you read error codes? They have specific error code per each misfiring cylinder. IF it's misfiring.
