Default Clicking Noise Near Distributor

Okay, recently, I changed the spider injector on my 4.3L V6 Engine, so I got a new distributor cap and rotor, made sure they were on right and tight. Spark plug wires are on correctly, however near the back of the intake plneum I hear a clicking noise, faint when idling but gets really bad when you tap on the brakes after moving. Tried spraying around the intake and no signs of leaks. Clicking noise is only near the back. When you turn your wheel it'll kind of sound like the power steering pump but you can still hear bad clicking...

Almost sounds like the distributor cap put on wrong and rubbing on the rotor. What do the brakes have to do with a noise by the distributor????

Not saying it is the brakes, the sound gets louder after stopping...we checked the rotor and the cap and nothing is rubbing or is loose and is on the correct way. However I was wondering if it could be the new upgraded fuel regulator on it making noises...the older fuel regulator had a valve type thing at the end for a vacuum at the end..and this one came with the new spider and just has a hole on the back end. Also after turning the car off, under the hood you can still hear the clicking noise even after the engine is off for about a second.

Also it doesn't have a hose that goes to the regulator...it was just a poor design by GM I guess..

The fuel pressure regulator in the 4.3 does not have a vacuum hose going to the rear end of it.

Yes I know..I was wondering if it would make a difference...which would possibly be the thing that is making that clicking sound near the back. Or maybe a defective regulator...i'm stumbled on the clicking sound..its definitely not the rotor or distributor cap..and everything is seated down on the intake plenum.
