engine oil dipstick tube

Hi I have an 01 2500hd silverado and while replaceing the right exhaust manifold I accidently kinked the oil dipstick tube. Can someone enlighten me on replaceing this tube . thanks Bernie

Pressed in the hole in block. Grab it with vise grips and tap on the vise grips should come out.

My 98 5.7 has a brace on that tube, bolted to the head around the exhaust manifold, then it pulls out as Mr. Wrench mentioned.
