Default FAN SELECTOR SWITCH postion 1 & 2 not working

I would like to know if anyone has had problems with the climate control switch for the fan. I would also like to know if the center console is able to be changed into a seat console on the 2002 2500hd. Thanks for the help.

I believe its your Blower Motor Resistor. It usally attached in the Air Box next to the blower. I had a 2000 Grand AM and 1995 Chevy truck do the same thing. The resistor should be between 15-30 bucks at the dealer or your favorite autoparts store. The resistor just plugs in and part of it goes inside the air box. On the ponitac it was right under the dash. On the truck, I had to remove the glove box and it was on top of the air box. hope this helps
