Default Front Trailer Hitch

I have a 99 Silverado K1500 and want to put a trailer hitch on the front to make it easier to move my empty used to be boat trailer around. I can't see it when it's hooked to the back of the truck due to my 10 foot popup camper in the box. When backing it up by the time I see it it's already starting to jack knife. I've put extension mirrors on the truck which helps while going down the road but I still can't see the trailer.I just want to put a ball in the front so I can see it to park it after I get it unloaded. It won't be heavy seeing as I can pick the tongue up when it's empty. It would just make it a lot easier to park it.

I bought this trailer from a friend and converted it to haul my motorcycle. It works great for that but is narrow.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
