Why would you go at 45? They look idiotic at that angle IMO.

The stuff came in yesterday. I did some measuring, and found the H-pipe is 12" long. So when I put the headers on, then the reducers, how long should the pipes be from there to the H-pipe? I was going to put a short pipe from the H-pipe to the mufflers.
The shop where I am going to put the motor in is 20 miles from my house. There is no place there to buy anything. I need to have everything ready to take with me when I go. I will have to drive back home and then go to an exhaust shop to get tail pipes put on afterward. I will also probably get it all welded at that time, depending on how much they charge.
I haven't looked under the truck yet to see, but is the gas tank in the way on these trucks?

If you are going true duals it might be, but I don't know because I have an aftermarket tank and I went split duals straight out the back. As far as going with your exhaust exiting at a 45, think about how much driving you do in the dirt. Those tips will get real dirty, real fast

i have true duals with flowmasters on my truck. when i had my built i complipated if i want em out straight or at 45's. but i found out that is u do go wit a 45 they will come out where ur bumper meets ur bed. and it jus looks funny. so the guy tht built mine put them at a 70 degree angle. which came out under the rear 1/4 and frankly it looks wicked good! but thats jus my opinion.

Do you have pics, please? I am still trying to figure out how I am going to run something under there to get it back home from the shop. I might have to mount the mufflers to the reducers until I get it home, then to a shop and have them bend pipe and install it all right. I was going to go straight out the back, centered on either side of license plate.

I've seen pipes that go straight out the back around the license plate, and it looks alright, but the tips definitely make the style if you go that way. If you have a tow hitch on it, I'd suggest going on either side of it, or at least that distance.

Rofl, my reflection looks really weird. o.O Forgive the dirtiness.
