Angry Heating Problem

I have a 2011 Silverado 1500 4x4 crew cab. When I start the truck in morning to warm it up when I go to get in temp guage shows it at operating temp but cold air through the vents no heat through vents till I start driving the truck

if your only getting heat when the engine is reved to higher rpms; its a symptom of low coolant level or air in the cooling system.

Our 05 sub did the same thing when the water pump started leaking and the coolant level dropped. You could actually hear coolant sloshing in the heater core with the air present in the system.
