Installing OEM Navigation that requires Bose
I plan on installing an OEM Navigation that requires Bose in my truck that does not have a Bose system. I keep reading things that say I can use my current amp, some others say get the stock one. I need info on what I should purchase other than the GPS antenna and GPS disc.
Can I go ahead and just get a stock Bose amp and replace it under the dash with the non-bose and the navigation will work?
FYI, this is what I plan on purchasing (if I cannot find it cheaper)

IF your truck is 2007 NBS or newer:
It will work with your current AMP. You'll need the head unit, antenna, and disc. VSS wire is highly recomend, voice wire is recomended if you ever plan on upgrading to bluetooth.

On top of what "SchramAutoParts" just mentioned, you will need to take your truck to a GM dealer to have the computer accept and control the new system installed.
