K1500 Wont stay Running??
My 1995 K1500 extended cab , had new plugs installed, wires checked, new distributor & rotor, new, idle control sensor, new throttle control sensor, fuel filter checked, and it still wont stay running, it just boggs out and finally shuts down. What should I check now??

boggs down and shut off when you hit the throttle or just idleing? did you check for codes?
I would say that if the fuel pump or exhaust was clogged it wouldnt stay running for a minute. But it could happen. A detached baffle in the cat or muffler could cause such a symptom as well as a clogged up sieve in the inlet to the fuel pump. Both would show up when you would hit the throttle. Well lets see what fuel pressure is.

I have seen over 50 GM trucks with the same symptom that was a restricted fuel filter. I have also seen the pump cause the same thing. A restricted fuel filter does not always show up on a fuel pressure test because it reduces volume. Sometimes it even makes the pressure higher (think like your thumb over the end of a garden hose, pressure goes up but volume goes down).

yea I thought fuel filter first but I took it off, and could blow air throught it. The plug wires I did a visual check and same time felt each wire for cracks, I'll run the preassure check today. get that reading and have a new fuel filter ready to put on and I'll check it again. I'll get back here later today after I get through all this. Thanks and stay here dont go anywhere!!

The preasure was 10+ with just the ignition switch on and was 10+ after I started the engine. I changed the fuel filter and it still does the same thing but I can keep it running as long as I keep working the gas pedal. I stopped at a garage and they said "maybe air flow that it doesnt know where to go" or clogged exhaust ot the MAF.
