i was thinking about oing the 411 PCM swap but im most likely going to be doing a LS swap in the near future so itd be a little pointless

Ya! I understand, "TRAITOR!!!!" ok now that is out of my system.

I am too heavaly invested at this point, and I would never use the LS to it's full potental in my operation, so on I go.

I did stop by the machine shop monday, and the milling is done. Looks real good, Later this week I should get a call to take the motor in to get the inital distributor fit done. "locate the bushing for the distributor" He then will get the welding finished. I hope to set the motorin the truck, in the next 2 weeks.

where did you get your engine and computer and harness?

Engine is out of a '96 WS6 Ram Air Bird that was wipped out, wiring is the stock Vortec modified for my application, As I have stated before I am an Electronics Tech, so it aint no biggie for me. ECU is out of an S10 ?? Flea bay special

here are the latest pictures, timming cover wirh the Dorman Plug, and a motor mount repair, "was broken in the accident"

i mean i love chevroletforum but gmt400.com is specifically for 88 to 98 silverados, so there is less people who dont know whtt they are talking about
