i am working on a 05 silverado 4.3 i had to replace dist. due to a broken screw hole. it ran ok with duct tape to hold the cap down, no codes. replaced with an autozone dist. it dropped right in rotor pointing at same place as old one. the truck acted as if it were out of time, rechecked and rechecked timing same outcome.dropped in a used gm unit it started but gave a p0016 code. this is the first fourm i have done. im out of ideas on this problem
