Default replace pass. side headlight bulb - 2014 1500

Has anyone replaced their headlight bulbs on a 2014 1500? My headlights were way to dim for a 2014 so I bought brighter lightbulbs and the driver side was a cake walk, but the passenger side is "blocked". Has anyone replaced the pass. side without tearing the engine bay a part?

Glad you got it resolved and thanks for following up to your own question with the fix follow up is what makes forums work

What bulbs did you go with? its been my experience that 80% of aftermarket bulbs fail with in a year, the OEM ones seem to last years....

I went with the Sylvania Silverstar Zxe for now. I had them in my '10 and they lasted 3 years. The OEM are way to dim, it looked like I had not headlights on at times. For a new truck I was disappointed in how they were. I'm looking at getting HID's next (after the holidays)

That is good to hear as I am also looking at that same bulb for my 07 Tahoe, I think the originals are getting too dim...
Did you do both Hi and Lo beams?

In my '10 I did both, in my '14 I only change the lo beams for now and honestly, I don't see much difference, though they're a little brighter, but not as bright as they were in my '10. So I'm not sure if there's enough "juice" going to the headlights or that little "dome" over the bulb is an issue. In my '10 I lit up our entire street, and now, in my '14 not so much. I'm putting a call into the dealer and/or chevy today or tomorrow to see if there's an issue with the headlights in general
