Default Superchip and Computer Problem!!!

07 NBS silverado factory remote start stopped working. truck has been programmed with superchips flashpaq since day one with no problem. I programmed the computer back to stock before going to the stealership. They reflash the computer twice and remote start still didn't work, then the mechanic calls me and tells me he needs to reprogram the computer completely but it may lock up because of the superchip. Me being ASE L1 tech for 8 years knows better and tells him to do it anyways. He calls me back two hours later and tells me the truck wont take the program because of the superchip....BS. I know you can't even reflash the computer if the superchip has a program in it. Thats why i programmed it back to stock so obviously if he can reflash it superchips isn't the problem. Needless to say they still have my truck trying to "fix it" and want to blame superchip so they can charge me and not fix it under warranty.I was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to why he can reflash but not reprogram the computer. I'm starting to wonder if he is using the CANdi adapter on his Tech2 or if he even knows the 07 is CAN BUS and not OBDII. let me know if any theories

Paranoid Theory #1: The Dealer wants to charge you for the work, and by layering it with a time-delay and blaming Superchips, they feel they can screw you out of your Warranty Coverage. But what do I know, I'm just a cranky old bastich.

Paranoid Theory #2: The Dealer mechanic doesn't know how to fix the problem, per se. He's had to call in other specialists, possibly from other states. The Repair Manager got involved. He doesn't want the dealership to eat this Warranty Repair, ergo see PT#1. Most Dealers don't mind small Warranty returns, but when it starts getting big, the coverage starts to fade REAL fast.

One sure-fire bet is whatever they're claiming they did is not what really happened. I'm willing to bet that the sticking solenoid actuator that's causing you all this grief won't be found in a timely manner, to say the least. And just WHAT does the computer have to do with the remote start anyway? Reflashing the computer will do nothing to initiate the remote start,IMO.
