Default Tire question

When I purchased my 2004 Silverado 4door extended cab 2wd it had 22's with Highway tires on them. Someone gave me practically a brand new set of all terrains. The highway tires was 305 40r22. The all terrians are 305 45r22 the back fit fine but they said I would need a leveling kit for the front. Couldn't I just cuf the bumper? Somebody please help I need the front tires pretty bad

probably better to go the lift kit torsion key method vs cutting the fenders. you will have to have a wheel alignment after ra ising the ride height.
you also need to adjust the tire size inthe ebcm to correct the speedo and maintain proper shift points for the trans if this was not done previously.
