Unhappy truck shuts off when turn lights on

have a 1995 chevy truck c/k 2500 starts up but when I turn on lights, turn signals, or step on brakes stalls out. new battery last winter. can turn on radio, inter. lights. doesn't happen. gauge looks like its charging a little.help please thanks

Maybe it's because you've started 5 threads asking the same question, in the same forum, in less than 24 hours?

If you want instant service, take it to a mechanic. If you're asking for advice on an internet forum, give it a day or two. Not all of us sit around, on standby, waiting to give an instant reply to every question.

Have you done any troubleshooting whatsoever? You're not giving much information, other than the alternator appears to be charging "a little."
You're about one step past, "My car doesn't run. Please help."
What happens when you rev the motor first, then turn on lights?
Have you put a multimeter on the alternator to see what voltage it's putting out?
Is your serpentine in good shape and tight?
Have you checked your battery connections, that they're clean and tight?

Just love folks that expect expert help instantly, then insult the entire group within 24 hrs. BTW welcome to our group - with a little patience and some added info, I'll bet someone will help you solve your problem.

Default wasnt sure was working

My phone wasnt working right couldnt tell if it was posting sorry. Tested with meter 12v not running 14.4v running when i rev up and put on lights says running but rough. Couldnt check with lights on running no help. Thanks for any help.

compare the voltage going into the ignition switch to whats coming out....i'm betting its the culprit
