Default Updating side mirrors??

I have a 94 silverado k1500, will the side mirrors from the new body styles(95-96) match up where my factory side mirrors are without having to cut or mod anything on the outside?

What I am trying to do is use the mirrors from the newer models to put on my 94. I tried to attach a picture of the mirrors that I'm talking about but it wont load it. The style I currently have are the metal ones and I am wanting to put the plastic style in its place.

how new? 95/6 was the same body as 94.. you can use 92 mirros on a 98 or 98 mirrors on a 90. my 92 had the plastic mirrors, it was just different style depending on the model.
so you should have no problems, they have 3 bolts inside the door and should fit right on.

Thanks racerx55, I thought it would be possible by looking at my truck and the mirrors. Sorry I did not explain it very well.
