Default Wiring ??

I've got a 2007 Classic Silverado 4x4 ext.cab. I installed my electric brake booster which i had in my 2001. The brake booster has the GM pigtail wiring harness attached to it, so it was easily enough to plug it into the fuse block, my question is, there is a lone red wire coming off the brake booster, i'm told that it is suppose to go to my brake switch, but when looking at the switch, there are multiple wires, which one do i connect my red wire to??

I don't know what controller you have, but you need to make sure if this wire is for the brake input signal or the output. That will decide where to connect it.

The shop in which i had brought my 2001 truck to install it in, wired the GM pigtail to the brake controller, so basically i have the controller at one end and the GM plug at the other, but also have 1 lone red wire, i called the shop, they said it had to go to the brake switch, but never mentioned which wire. I didn't realize before looking at the brake switch, that there were multiple wires in it, maybe i'll just take it back to them.

You could check it for power, if it's the output wire it will have 12 volts when you push the brake pedal or activate the controller. If it has no power then it gets connected to the brake signal wire from the switch.
