Default Wiring

I need to run a wire from the battery into the cab for a switch. Where is the best place to go through the firewall.

There's a big rubber grommet on the firewall, by where the steering column goes into the truck. Usually cut a hole in it and run a wire on a wire hanger or snake through till you can see it

After you do this, make sure there is a good seal to keep water out. use some silicone seal if needed.
