I am quite surprised to see an 88 with no visible rust. Around here the oldest truck you see that is still driveable of that body style is 90

aah. well my 89 so far has only a little surface rust where the paint was gouged away. finally got my dash back in today, just as much of a pain in the butt as taking it out.

How much does a new Z71 set you back nowadays? Those new ones are awesome. I think the silverado got it's groove back. I remember when my dad was gonna get a new one in 1997 and it was like 24k or so.

they cost more money then i can afford right now i know that i was gonna geta new one but instead im just going to do more body work on mine redo the fraim and put some new rims and tires on it!!! maybe beef the engine up some more
