I have an 01 Silverado and filled it up today and after driving a little I noticed a real strong gas smell I didn't think it was the truck but I noticed some spots under it in the parking lot so when I got home I got underneath and can see that it is leaking somewhere. I checked the tank and it looks fine it looks like the fuel leak might be on top and be leaking down onto the tank it is leaking at the front of the tank near the cab of the truck do I have to drop the tank or is there any other way to see where it is leaking I have heard on s10's to take the bed off instead of drop the tank but I am just wondering what my best bet is to fixthe leak should iI drop the tank or take the bed off? What's my best option?
