i have an 01 silverado with a 5.3. it is 2wd but has aftermarket lift kit on it raised about 4". and is sitting on 33's. the powersteering line cracked on the back of the pump yesterday. i replaced it to find the pump was also leaking so i replaced it too. i went to the store earlier today and heard the whinning again, and saw a leak under the truck. after filling it back up with fluid and driving 1.5 miles to my house i get under it and see the line leaking going into the rack.it was tight and no cracks. it is leaking around the line but not on the threads. like between the screw fitting and the actual line. i undid the line and there is no place for a o-ring line the rest of the high pressure lines. HELPPPPPPPP

 

A small O-ring must be installed on the end of tubing that is flared on both ends of pressure line.
