generally to make sure its not clogged and to have peace of mine, i'll change the filter at about 5k and top off the oil. Then around 8k or so i'll do a complete oil change

 

So you guys are running synthetic oil rougly 3 times longer without changing oil over conventional oil?

Would valvoline be ok? Or is Mobil 1 worth it? I wouldn't mind spending the extra for Mobil 1 if I was going to change it less frequently. I run wix oil filters. Due to my busy work schedule I would like not to have to change my oil as often. I have never ran synthetic before always just used conventional.
