For that 4.8 I'd do headers to single 3" exhaust(then whatever you want for tips), MIT kit from airaid(filter and tube), vette servo for the transmission, and a custom tune. Not a performance chip with 3 settings. Those do nothin for us gas powered folks.

I already have true duals with Dynomax Bullet Race Performance mufflers dumped under the bed, sounds amazing, and gives me a little more horse and torque just from the free flowing exhaust. But looking for headers though, what brand would you recommend? And I've tried custom tuning, performance plugs and wires, Spectre high flow filter (no tube just stock) and a 145 alternator (upgraded from a 105). I've tried looking to increase my throttle response too but I still am unable to find the adjuster screw

Country_09 I spoke to a gentleman today that said the same thing about chips. OK for a diesel, but a wast of money for a gasser. Thanks for the information though, it helps alot when you'er just learning.

I wouldn't say waste of money, my buddy put one on his 94 1500 and it helped alot with mpgs and hp and torque. But I couldn't tell you what he got or anything. But If you could recommend anybody that knows about self tuning, engine wise, I'm all ears

Programmers and chips help on the older trucks, the newer ones 99+ not so much. Blackbear performance, Wheatley tuning, Nelson performance just to name a few
