where is the speed sensor located at on an 03 silverado i thnk i need to replace it?

 

I assume you're referring to the vehicle speed sensor (VSS). The VSS is mounted on the tail extension of the transmission or, in the case of 4WD, on the transfer case. It takes a two-wire (PPL/WHT and LT GRN/BLK) electrical connector.
