Unhappy 03 silverado no start

Hey guys. I have an 03 silverado 5.3l with 35000 miles. No problems til now. Drove the truck on and off all day. Went out to start it and nothing, not even a click from the starter. Checked the battery with a load tester. Tests out fine. I have no idea. I turn the key and there is dead silence.
Need help!!! 2 cars crap out within 24hrs. Not good.
Thanks

Ok, the reason I ask is I've seen this scenario caused by critters chewing wires. May be a long shot, but if your battery is good and you get nothing it could be the case.

Truck started today.
After doing some reading online. This is a common problem. With no cure.
