Default 03 Silverado odd Braking Problem, help!

Hi all,

The vehicle in question here is a 2003 Silverado 1500 z71

Today I was towing a motorcycle trailer (pretty light) around town with zero problems when all of a sudden when I hit the brake, I started to get some nasty feedback.

When braking now, the truck feels like its constantly grabbing and letting go, but in a very rough way. It's especially terrible at very low speeds, its very obvious/somewhat terrifying and very rough. When the truck finally comes to a stop, it feels as though the brakes kind of lock up; takes a little gas to "break free" to continue driving.

It sounds like its specifically coming from the left front. And even more odd, this does not happen when the truck is in reverse....

Just installed new pads and rotors less than 500 miles ago all around

Please help I have no idea what is going on thanks!

Have same type of truck, same problem twice. 3yrs ago abs came on when pavement was dry and was not needed, was going slow, so mechanic said it was the sensors. Had them replaced to the tune of +$400. Within the first month it started doing the same thing. Right now I have the vehicle in the shop for the same problem, this time maybe they will fix it so I can get rid of it. My ABS dash light went on along with service brake system so what you are experiencing I hope you fare better than what I have. Good luck.
