04 2500hd 4x4 crew cab 6.0L w/20,000 miles 4.10 gears w/ lockermajor wheel hop on any surface inc. sand or even wet grass! anyone else have this problem?

 

mine just spins or digs holes.

 

How hard are you on the gas when it hops? You have a strong engine and low gears. Lots of power unless your towing. If I remeber correctly wheel hop is caused by the leaf springs trying to roll up, somewhat into an s. The front down back up, with the rotation of the tires. Do some checking but so long as that is the cause a 3 link, four link, or traction bars should stop it.

 

im with kcb37. i think its caused by the leaf springs. you might try a set of add-a-leafs in to see if the extra pressure will help.
