Question 04 Silverado 1500 Z71 4LO Not Working

Ok, so I had to pull up a small tree the other day with my truck and I was gonna use 4LO. Pushed the button for 4LO and the light just kept flashing and it wouldn't engage 4LO. Any ideas?

And it never clicked over? Could be the switch or actuator

No it never clicked over. I waited for a good minute to 2 minutes and nothing, the light on the 4LO button was still flashing. I'm guessing it's the actuator cause the other gears work fine. I actually ended up using 4HI to pull the tree out which worked fine anyway.
